Went in the day before Thanksgiving. I expected long lines and a crowd. There were a lot of people in the store but the lines were all open and quick. I only go there when I need something and can't find it anywhere else. Because I live across town. It was totally worth the drive.
The employees at Ralphs about 3 blocks up from the Veterans Home Chula Vista are incredible. They are so helpful, so kind and they treat me wonderful. I would recommend them to anybody who wants to go to a grocery store where the employees will help you with anything you need. They're incredible and if you're smart you got a great team. Treat them well and pay them enough to where they want to stay. They all seem to be happy being there you can just tell by watching them. Since the star won't light up when I touch it I not only give them a 5-star rating but I give them a 10 star rating.
Has my favorite peppermint ice cream fin a lot all year long. Excellent sales. Good parking too.
I was totally dissatisfied with the deli. The customer service was great but the food was old, stale and watered down. The soups were crusty and dried out. When I called the manager to share the info so she could check for the freshness of cheese & cold cuts, she all but called me a liar and wasn't interested at all. I didn't want someone else to have a bad experience. It was a complete waste of time and money. I will not be shopping there again.
I love shopping at this location. Each and every time I find what I am looking for at a reasonable price. Carmen the cashier is the very best. She always asks if I found everything that I was looking for and if I didn't she'll make sure it's found. Her personality is very warming.
