This is a pretty park perfect for kids to play in and for the parents to relax. There are large fields perfect for sports and exercise. The park even has its own miniature water park for kids to cool off in.
Great park! The spray pad area is smaller than what I thought it would be but it was nice on a hot day. You should tell your child to not run/walk fast or they will fall. There are play structures for young and older children. There are lots of picnic tables, bbqs, trees for shade. The grass is soft but small ants did get on us from the grass. Gorgeous view. Diverse set of people use the park. There is a basketball court. Bathroom has 3 stalls with no doors.
We love this park! The kids love playing in the water! But make sure you bring shoes for the kids to wear while in the water. I see more kids slip and fall and hot their heads!!! We always bring a canopy. The tables don't have covers and it gets very hot out here. But it's free and its a great place too hang out with the family on a hot summer day!
One of my favorites for the views of the Lake! This park is huge, clean and offers lots of possiblity to families (barbecue, walking and biking trails, playground, splash pad in the summer). The only negative is the parking sometimes which is hard to find.
Calm and relaxing place to have a picnic or just go for a walk.
I really love the awesome view of the lake and mountains.
