When you walk in you get the wonderful aroma of fresh baked bread. The tortillas are made there and taste great.
The produce is fresh and there is a large variety of bulk items.
This place is great. Great deals on meat, good deals on hot food in the deli, too. The real reason to come here, though, is the restaurant in the middle. I go there frequently for the kebabs, gyros, sandwiches, and coffee. They also have a nice selection of aguas fresca. Great food, for a good price, and fairly quick. A frequent after- work stop for me.
My kids call this store, " the awesome store." And I agree! The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable.
I went there for the first time last week and have been there 3 times since.
There is tons of prepared food to choose from including menudo and beef soup.
Great food and very clean. The staff are all great. Beats Gonzalez Market by a long shot highly recommend this place.
They have different salsas prepared, a deli, sandwiches, juices and plenty of hot food. There is also self serve frozen yogurt for 29 cents an ounce, but free for children 12 & under.
Only complaint is that I wish I would've found this store sooner.

Can get overcrowded at times; simply avoid busy hours if you can. Management could re-think set up of product sale item islands to allow for more space. Also discount juice bar at later hours to avoid waste of drinks (I think they toss containers). Simple ideas that would definitely better store from my perspective.
**On a side note- I do regularly observe what I believe might be manager/owner briefing various departments...mentoring/training style. Good to see that he is very involved.
I come here at least 2x a week (live 3 blocks down). Worth it. Quality of Meats and vegetables good and prices great. Love the variety in ethnic foods especially Hispanic and Middle Eastern. Deli area including hot food and taqueria are very tasty! I'm very picky about flavor and details and so far I have nothing to complain about.
Best grocery store ever!!!!
I'm yet to find out if employees are treated nicely with respect at least.
